Graham Zusi, who played so well for the United States Men’s National Team earlier this month in their second game against Jamaica, had a top notch game last night picking up two goals in Sporting Kansas City’s 2-0 victory over the Chicago Fire.
On the first goal, Zusi nicely finishes a cross from Kei Kamara. Watching the second replay, one can see how impressive the finish truly was because of the spin of the ball and the fact that Zusi is forced to hit the ball off the short hop.
The second goal was also solid as Zusi took advantage of a nice flick by CJ Sapong and then found space in front of two Fire defenders to slot the ball home on a great shot into the far corner. The solid performance by Zusi is only going to help his chances with the USMNT as two do-or-die World Cup qualifiers await.
