News abroad dominated the headlines on Saturday, as 17-year-old Christian Pulisic made his Bundesliga debut, Matt Miazga finalized his deal with Chelsea and John Anthony Brooks signed a new contract with Hertha Berlin.

Brooks’ contract extension will keep him with the German club until 2019. He also started on Saturday, a bit of a surprise after a mid-week injury scare.

Elsewhere, Bobby Wood scored a brace for Union Berlin in a friendly. Next week, the Bundesliga 2 kicks back into action following their winter break.

And finally, Danny Williams scored a nice goal for Reading in their 4-0 win over Walsall in FA Cup action.
