Bobby Wood scored today in Bundesliga II action, picking up an 86th-minute equalizer to help Union Berlin tie Kaiserlautern 2-2. The dribble to set up the strike was superb with Wood splitting two separate sets of defenders to put himself in on goal.
There was a minor scare in the United States women’s national team camp today as Carli Lloyd left practice with the trainers immediately after they were checking her pulse on the sideline. However, U.S. Soccer later said Lloyd had just gotten sick during practice. Lloyd confirmed as much later in the day on Twitter.
